Inhaber-Courchesne advanced to the IHSA National Championship finals for the first time in her riding career after placing third overall in the intermediate western horsemanship class Sunday at the semifinals held in Hamburg.

Inhaber-Courchesne was one of eight to advance through the preliminary round that featured 16 total riders, and among the eight in her respective division, finished third in the final round to earn one of four show slots from across the nation.

Terrier appeared twice on the mound for the Mustangs in their lone double-header of the week, throwing a total of seven innings and collecting a 1-0 record.

The sophomore threw a complete game in the first of the double against Notre Dame (MD), allowing two hits and one earned run, while collecting five strike outs, for a 1.40 ERA.

She followed with two innings in the second game, relieving the Mustangs starting pitcher, and allowed just one hit and no runs. Across both contests, Terrier allowed just one run, three hits and posted a 1.00 ERA.
