Six named to NFHCA National Academic Squad  

 

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its 2017 Zag Field Hockey / NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad honorees Monday, naming six from Morrisville State College to its list of student-athletes receiving recognition.

Heather Cummings (Akron, N.Y.), Natalie Diable (Morrisville, N.Y.), Hayley Fonfara (Elma, N.Y.), Emma Gottung (Caroga Lake, N.Y.), Elizabeth Leva (Hoosick Falls, N.Y.) and Cassie Sherman (Hoosick Falls, N.Y.) were among the list of honorees that represented more than 145 institutions across Division III.

To earn recognition, student-athletes must have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.
