Cameron named Mustang Athlete of the Week  

 

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State athletics department has announced its weekly award winners, naming junior forward Kylie Cameron (Burlington, ON) the Mustang Athlete of the Week following her performance on the ice across the weekend for the Mustangs.

Cameron posted two goals in a 1-0-1 week for the women's hockey team, for two points against conference rival SUNY Canton.

Cameron posted her first score of the weekend at the 6:27 mark, giving the Mustangs the two goal advantage as she buried the shorthanded score. Her tally proved to be the game winner down the stretch.

She followed that tally with the game tying score in Saturday's draw, netting the lone Morrisville State goal at the 6:36 mark of the third period.

Cameron is a graduate of Corpus Christi Catholic Secondary School and is majoring in human performance and health promotion at SUNY Morrisville. She is the daughter of Tracey and Susan Cameron of Burlington, Ontario.
