MORRISVILLE, NY – Morrisville State has announced its 2019 men's soccer schedule, as the Mustangs get underway with preseason training August 17.
The Mustangs will begin with a home non-conference battle with Oswego State in the season kick-off scheduled for Aug. 30th at 6 p.m. on their home turf, before turning around and hosting Ithaca College for the first time on September 4th.
Morrisville State will have a four-game road slate over the span on eight days, including heading to nearby Utica College on the 7th for the opening round of their Invitational Tournament. On Sunday, Sept. 8th they will kick-off against New Paltz at Utica.
A road game at Buffalo State on Sept. 11 will lead the Mustangs to their first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game on the road at Wells on Sept. 14, before playing host in the Mustang Valley to non-conference opponent Nazareth College on the 17th.
SUNY Cobleskill comes to town on the 21st for a second NEAC contest, before the Mustangs take on Route 20 Rival, Cazenovia, in an afternoon battle on Drake Field on the 24th.
September wraps up with a road outing at Keuka College on the 28th.
Morrisville State will head across town on October 5th to nearby SUNY Poly, before renewing their conference rivalry with Penn State Harrisburg on the 12th in Morrisville, in the first of a a trio of contests against "Nittany Lions".
Reigning NEAC champion, Penn State Abington, will roll into the Mustang Valley on the 13th to wrap up the weekend action, before Morrisville State heads to Reading to meet Penn St. Berks on the 19th.
Morrisville State will host Penn College on Oct. 26 in its home regular season finale before a double on the road at Lancaster Bible on November 1st and Gallaudet University on the 2nd sees the regular season come to a close.
The Mustangs will get the season underway on the 17th welcoming new faces to the green and white sidelines.
