Bodnaruik claims ninth place finish at IHSA National Championships

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Sophomore hunt seat rider Tomara Bodnaruik (Spey, N.Y.) completed her 2013-14 riding season with a ninth place overall finish in the walk trot class at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) National Championships last Friday in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Bodnaruik, one of 16 riders to show in the class, was the lone Mustang to make a national appearance for Morrisville State, doing so with a regional crown and zone championship just weeks ago.

The sophomore is a graduate of Eldred High School and is majoring in equine science and management at Morrisville State and is also a softball student-athlete. She is the daughter of Cheri Bodnaruik of Spey.
