Morrisville State rides to third place finish at Skidmore IHSA Hunt Seat Show

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College hunt seat equestrian team rode to a third place team finish Saturday at the Skidmore Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) competition held in Saratoga Springs.

Skidmore won the show with 45 points for high point team honors, followed by Colgate with a 35 point reserve high point team finish. Morrisville State compiled 33 team points.

Morgan Wilsberg (Mattituck, N.Y.) was one of five top riders for the Mustangs on Saturday, posting a class win in the open flat, while finishing second in the open equitation over fences class.

Dana Morgan (Pleasant Valley, N.Y.) was second in the intermediate equitation over fences class, while teammates Alexis Stasinos (Peabody, Mass.) and Courtney DiGirolomo (Rocky Point, N.Y.) each posted second place rides in the beginner walk trot canter class.

Kailyn Guthro (Mannsville, N.Y.) collected her third straight win in the walk trot class for the Mustangs.

Morrisville State returns to the riding arena, Saturday, traveling to Skidmore for their final show of the fall season.
