Field Hockey Shut Out at Hartwick

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State Field Hockey team were blanked by Hartwick College on Saturday afternoon, falling 5-0.

The Hawks dominated play from the beginning, scoring three times in the opening half.  Hartwick was able to out-shoot the visiting Mustangs 10-2. 

Morrisville earned several chances to get back into the contest as they received six penalty corners to Hartwick's three in the second half.  Unfortunately for the Mustangs, Hartwick was able to score twice more on 9 shots for the 5-0 win. 

Morrisville will return home on Wednesday for another conference contest against Oswego State at 4 PM.
