Hunt receives SUNYAC All-Conference recognition

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced its 2017 Field Hockey All-Conference first and second team selections, naming Morrisville State's Emily Hunt (Harpursville, N.Y.) to its second team at midfield.

The sophomore started all 17 games for the Mustangs at midfield, and controlled play on both ends of the field as she contributed to both the offensive and defensive game for Morrisville State.

In all, Hunt recorded six points to the Mustangs offensive efforts on the year behind two goals and two assists. One of her tallies was a game winning score over Keuka College

Hunt is also a two-time All-Conference honoree for the North Eastern Athletic Conference.

A graduate of Harpursville High, Hunt is majoring in nursing at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Mary Strollo.
