Dennis tabbed Men’s Basketball NEAC Player of the Week  

 

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its weekly award winners, naming Morrisville State junior forward, Kevin Dennis (Bronx, N.Y.) the Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 18.

Dennis led Morrisville State to a 2-1 week as he averaged 18.0 points per game, and 25.7 minutes played per contest on average.

The junior powered his way to 54.3% shooting from the floor as he hit an average of six field goals per game, while going 16-for-19 from the free throw line, including a perfect 9-for-9 against York.

Dennis started the week with 13 points and 10 rebounds against Brockport, adding a steal in 16 minutes of action, before following that performance with a week high 23 points and 17 rebounds in the victory over York.

Dennis collected a third double-double for the week Sunday, recording 18 points and 18 rebounds in the win over Centenary at the Hamilton College Tip-Off Tournament, where he also added a steal.

A graduate of Harry S. Truman High, Dennis is majoring in criminal justice at SUNY Morrisville. He is the son of Monique Davis of the Bronx.
