MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State men's basketball team overpowered visiting Wells College in the second half of Tuesday's double-header, outscoring the express 46-29 in the final twenty as they posted the 89-64 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory on the Mustangs home court in Morrisville.

- Morrisville State led 43-35 at the half before using a 16-4 run early on in the second half to broaden the gap and put the victory out of reach for the visiting Express.
- The Mustangs dominated play in the paint, out muscling Wells 49-20 on the glass, including a 21-6 effort on the offensive boards. Twenty-six of the Mustangs points came on second chance opportunities and 46 total within the paint.
- Junior Kevin Dennis (Bronx, N.Y.) led all scorers with 30 points and 19 rebounds, snagging nine off the offensive glass.
- Fellow junior forward Derek Beames (Otego, N.Y.) added 16, 13 of which he scored in the second half of play, while contributing four rebounds in 18 minutes of action.
- Lamel Faison (Brooklyn, N.Y.) rounded out the Mustangs leaderboard with 10 points, while Brison Hall (Syracuse, N.Y.) came off the bench to add 10 rebounds to the Morrisville State totals.
- Morrisville State had 10 total contribute to the victory on the night in scoring.
- Zach D'Arpino paced the Express efforts with 19 points off the bench for Wells, hitting 6-of-9 from long range, while Dylan Frost added 18 points in the loss.

- Morrisville State returns to the court Saturday, hosting Penn College at 3 p.m. for a NEAC cross over with the southern division opponent.
