MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Host Morrisville State men's basketball outscored the visiting Penn College Wildcats a game total 70-30 in play in the paint en route to a 103-82 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win Saturday afternoon to up their conference record to 12-1 overall.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Junior forward Kevin Dennis (Bronx, N.Y.) led a quad of Mustang players in double figures Saturday afternoon as he collected a game high 32 points and added 21 rebounds, as the hosts dominated play in the paint on the day. Twelve of Dennis' rebounds came on the offensive glass.
- Junior Derek Beames (Otego, N.Y.) added 15 points, shooting 50% from the floor and adding six rebounds and two assists to his tallies.
- Guards Rahmell Smith (Syracuse, N.Y.) and Justin Mitchell (Newburgh, N.Y.) rounded out the Mustang leaderboard with 14 and 16 points, respectively, combining for five assists.
- Senior Lamel Faison (Brooklyn, N.Y.) dished out a team high eight assists and Jared D'Aloia (Stillwater, N.Y.) added another four.
- Morrisville State dominated the paint, outscoring Penn College 70-30, in part due to their large presence on the glass, where the Mustangs collected 56 rebounds to the visitors 27; including a 25-5 advantage on the offensive boards. The Mustangs also added 27 second chance points behind their game total 25 offensive rebounds.
- Carson Garvis kept the Wildcats in the game with a stellar 29 point effort, hitting 6-of-10 from long range, while teammate Spencer Bartron added 19 points in the loss.

- Morrisville State will host Penn State Berks tomorrow at 2 p.m. on the Mustangs home court, the regular season finale. Their schedule will wrap up on the road with two straight NEAC battles, one at Route 20 Rival Cazenovia on Wednesday, and the finale at Keuka on Saturday.
