Morrisville State men’s golf edges Cazenovia for win

CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men's golf team edged Cazenovia College by 11 strokes to pick up their second match win of the season, on the 6,325, par-70 course at the Cazenovia Country Club.

Freshman Darren Young (Woodstock, ON) was +8 on the day to finish as the individual medalist in the match, while freshman Brandon Davis (Fayetteville, N.Y.) shot a 97 to finish second for the Mustangs.

Robert Molinaro (Yonkers, N.Y.) and Matthew Rogers (Lake Orion, Mich.) rounded out team scoring for Morrisville State, respectively.

Morrisville State compiled 377 strokes to Cazenovia's 388 to claim the victory.

The Mustangs will have a 2-week break in action before taking part in the two-day Hamilton College Fall Invitational scheduled October 5th and 6th.
