Mustang golf finishes 8th at Oswego Fall Invitational

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men's golf team put together an eighth place outing Monday afternoon at the Oswego State Fall Invitational, held at the Oswego Golf and Country Club in Oswego.

Darren Young (Woodstock, Ontario) led the Mustang efforts with a score of 75 on the day, good enough for sixth place overall, as Morrisville State compiled a team score of 337 strokes.

Brandon Davis (Manlius, N.Y.) finished tied for 33rd with 86 strokes on the 71-par, 6,510 yard course, while teammate Cody Holmes (Fort Ann, N.Y.) finished tied for 37th position with a score of 87.

Zac McMichael (Bancroft, Ontario) and Marc-Antoine Chaput (Mascouche, Quebec) rounded out Mustang scoring, shooting 89 and 96 strokes on the day.

Morrisville State returns to action September 25 at the Keuka Fall Invitational in Penn Yan.
