Pflaumer, DeVito lead Morrisville State golf at Elmira Invite   

 

ELMIRA, N.Y. – Senior Jesse Pflaumer (Elba, N.Y.) finished tied for 20th overall at the Elmira College Fall Invitational held Tuesday in Elmira at the Country Club, finishing the round with a score of 93 to lead the Mustangs.

Sophomore Nick DeVito (Averill Park, N.Y.) also notched a 20th individual place finish for Morrisville State, and was followed by Ryan Houghtalen (Syracuse, N.Y.) who posted a score of 99 strokes.

Joshua Shore (Binghamton, N.Y.) rounded out scoring for the visitors with an outing of 114 strokes, while teammate Colin Pope (Peru, N.Y.) completed all Morrisville State competitors with a score of 120.

Morrisville State placed sixth overall as a team on the 72-par course with a combined score of 399, +111 par.

Morrisville State returns to the greens Saturday, traveling to Oswego for the Oswego Fall Invitational conducted both Saturday as well as Sunday.
