Morrisville State golf competes at Oswego Fall Invitational   

 

OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men's golf team competed at the 2017 Oswego State Fall Invitational over the weekend, compiling a two day total 754 to finish tied for seventh among team standings.

Layne Martin (Findlay, Ohio) led Morrisville State's efforts with a two-day total 170, to finish 22nd overall among 42 competitors.

Brad Hefner (Billings, Mt.) finished just a stroke behind for 23rd position with a invite outing of 171, shooting an 83 on day two.

Joe Lane (Byron, N.Y.) scored third for the Mustangs, shooting a total 190, +48 par, before Colin Pope (Peru, N.Y.) wrapped up all scoring for Morrisville State, finishing in 40th individually.

Morrisville State returns to the greens on October 10th, heading south to the Penn College Wildcat Invitational.
