Morrisville State men resume golf schedule at Keuka Spring Invitational  

 

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men's golf team resumed the 2017-18 schedule Wednesday morning, competing at the Keuka College Spring Invitational where they turned in a 10th place team finish.

The Mustangs collected a total score of 412 strokes on the par-71, 6,549 yard course held at the Lakeside Country Club in Penn Yan, and was led by sophomore Nick DeVito (Averill Park, N.Y.) who finished with the 18-hole score of 96.

Joseph Lane (Byron, N.Y.) was second on the team in scoring, finishing the course with a score of 100 strokes, while Daniel Golba (Buffalo, N.Y.) and Rick Eberhart (Lockport, N.Y.) turned in scores of 107 and 109, respectively.

Christian Vella (Rochester, N.Y.) rounded out the Mustangs roster with a score of 134.

SUNY Cobleskill was the invite champion, collectively posting a score of 324 strokes, +40 on par.

Morrisville State returns to the greens Saturday, traveling to SUNY Cobleskill for the Fighting Tigers Spring Invitational, held at the Cobleskill Country Club.
