Morrisville State golf wraps up season seventh at NEAC Championships  

 

STEVENS, Pa. – The Morrisville State men's golf team wrapped up the 2018-19 season Sunday afternoon as they competed in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Golf Championships, hosted by Penn State Berks at the Foxchase Golf Club.

The Mustangs finished seventh overall in team standings, shooting a two day total 725 strokes on the par 72 course, battling strong and gusty winds throughout the weekend.

Joseph Lane (Byron, N.Y.) led Morrisville State across the affair with a combined score of 177, shooting an 80 on day two, to finish 25th overall in individual standings.

Sam DePasquale (Marcy, N.Y.) was right behind Lane as he scored second for the Mustangs with his two-day total of 178, finishing 26th, after shooting an 83 on day two.

Brad Hefner (Billings, Mt.) and Ben Sprague (Massena, N.Y.) rounded out the Morrisville State scoring with their 180, and 190 stroke finishes, individually finishing 28th and 35th overall.
