Morrisville State men’s hockey to play for Special Olympics Saturday  

 

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State men's ice hockey team will host a second straight weekend of benefit games, this time playing for the New York Special Olympic Organization as they play host to SUNY Canton at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9 on their home ice in Morrisville.

All proceeds from the contest will be donated directly to the Special Olympics Organization, who the Mustang hockey team has worked directly with annually over the past decade, and has become passionate about supporting such a great organization.

Donations from the gate, 50/50 raffle, prize raffle and online jersey auction will be donated to the organization.

The online jersey auction is taking place through the team's facebook page (@MustangHockey). Bids will also be accepted by assistant coach Connor White at whitecw@morrisville.edu, and will start at $75. All bidding will close at 10 p.m. on Sunday, February 10.
