NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Freshman William Lynch (Island Trees, N.Y.) tallied his first collegiate goal Saturday afternoon, leading the Morrisville State men's soccer team to a 1-0 decision over Union College at the CIAO Classic held at MCLA in North Adams, Mass.

  • Freshman William Lynch (Island Trees, N.Y.) posted the game winner in the 51st minute of play, collecting a rebound off the Union keeper save and burying the game's lone tally.
  • Sophomore Cody Welkley (North Rose, N.Y.) posted the shutout victory, turning away nine in 79 minutes of action.
  • Freshman Carter D'Agostino (Fredonia, N.Y.) recorded two saves over the final eleven minutes to complete the shutout.
