Men’s Cross Country Finishes 4th at Stephen Warde Invite

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State Men's Cross Country team ran to a 4th place finish today at the Stephen Warde Invitational held at SUNY Cobleskill. 

Byron Evans (Cazenovia, N.Y.) finished 3rd overall in his first competitive run for the season.  The second place finisher a year ago at the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship, posted a 30:13.74 in the 8k race. 

Justin Depue (Homer, N.Y.) was the second to finish for Morrisville in the 23rd overall spot with a time of 33:29.52. 

Finishing in a pack, Ben Seale (Chittenango, N.Y.), Isaiah Evans (Cazenovia, N.Y.), and Mason Craine (Red Creek, N.Y.) rounded out the scoring runs for the Mustangs as they finished 32nd, 33rd, and 34th respectively. 

The Mustangs will travel to Rochester, N.Y. for the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational on September 17.
