Morrisville State men open season on the road at SUNY Poly   

 

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College men's cross country team took to the start line Saturday morning for the first time in the young 2017 season, competing in the short course invitational hosted by SUNY Polytechnic in Marcy.

Owen Braun (Fulton, N.Y.) paced Morrisville State in the 6K race, finishing with a time of 23:33.6, 80th overall individually, while Isaiah Evans (Cazenovia, N.Y.) was close behind with a time of 24:00.1.

Mason Craine (Red Creek, N.Y.) was third to score for the Mustangs with a time of 24:18.3, followed by teammates Corbin Wadsworth (Syracuse, N.Y.) and Na'Im Williams (East Orange, N.J.) who finished with times of 24:55.6 and 33:47.6, respectively.

Morrisville State returns to the courses Saturday, hosting their first invitational in decades. The men's race is slated to begin at noon.
