Morrisville State men 17th at Harry F. Anderson Invite  

 

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State men's cross country competed at the Harry F. Anderson invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan Saturday, finishing 17th out of 21 competing teams, with junior Owen Braun (Fulton, N.Y.) leading the way for the Mustangs.

Braun finished in 99th scoring place, with a time of 31:19.5 for the 8K race, while teammate Patrick Moade (DeRuyter, N.Y.) was close behind in 103rd scoring position with a time of 31:45.0.

Derek Hutchings (West Winfield, N.Y.) and Jim O'Connell (Skaneateles, N.Y.) were close behind in 106th and 109th positions, with times of 32:09.5 and 32:41.9, while Ben Seale (Chittenango, N.Y.) rounded out team scoring with his 110th finish in 32:46.4.

More than 230 runners competed in the race, with host Roberts Wesleyan taking the invite title with 40 team points.

Morrisville State returns to the racing course Saturday, traveling to Cazenovia College for a noon start.
