CLINTON, N.Y. – Freshman Patrick Moade (DeRuyter, N.Y.) paced the pack of seven Mustang runners Saturday as the Morrisville State men's cross country team placed eighth overall at the Hamilton College Invitational held in Clinton.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Freshman Patrick Moade (DeRuyter, N.Y.) finished the 8K race with a time of 31;07.2, finishing 38th scoring position overall.
- Junior Owen Braun (Fulton, N.Y.) added to the team scoring with his 47th scoring finish in 32:20.1, followed closely by Derek Hutchings (West Winfield, N.Y.) in 49th with a time of 32:53.6 and Ben Seale (Chittenango, N.Y.) in 50th with a time of 33:02.5.
- Anthony Fazio (Highland, N.Y.) broke into the Mustangs top five with his 57th individual finish in 33:42.4.
- 115 total runners and 11 teams took part in the event with Chris Davitt (LeMoyne) capturing the individual title in 26:02.0, and hots Hamilton College the team title with 28 points, placing all five scoring runners in the top 10.
WHAT'S NEXT:
- Morrisville State will head West to the CCOC Championships hosted by Hobart/William Smith in Geneva Saturday, Oct. 13. The start gun goes off at noon.
