CANTON, N.Y. – Host St. Lawrence University earned the doubleheader sweep over visiting Morrisville State on Tuesday afternoon at the Saints Softball Field located in Canton, NY. With the sweep, the Saints snap an eight-game losing streak and improve to 12-12 overall, while the Mustangs drop to 1-25 on the season.

- Junior Savannah Hobbie (South Kortright, NY) led the Mustangs on the offensive end in game one, recording two hits on four at-bats for the visitors.
- Ciera Sprague (Elmira, NY), Paige Williams (Machias, NY), Skyler Girard (Cherry Valley, NY), and Kellina Murphy (Yonkers, NY) each recorded one hit for Morrisville State to combine for six total hits in 28 at- bats in the first of the afternoon.
- Murphy took the loss for the Mustangs, allowing seven runs, five earned, on eight hits with one strikeout and three walks in six innings pitched.
- Sprague and Mackenzie Lawrence (Greene, NY) each posted singles in game two for Morrisville State, but were unable to cross the plate to notch a score for the Mustangs.
- Chyne Kennedy (Southwold, Ontario) threw the loss in game two for Morrisville State, allowing seven earned runs on ten hits, striking out four and walking one in four innings pitched.

Morrisville State will return to North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play when they travel to SUNY Cobleskill on Friday for a doubleheader, with games expected to start at 3:00pm and 5:00pm.
