MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State junior guard Tori Rockefeller (South Kortright, N.Y.) led the Mustangs with 27 total points Tuesday evening, becoming the third in Mustang women's basketball history to reach the 1,000 point milestone, but it wasn't enough as the hosts dropped the heartbreaking 61-59 loss to visiting Wells College on their home court in Morrisville.

- Junior guard Tori Rockefeller (South Kortright, N.Y.) became just the third Mustang in women's basketball history to score 1,000 career points, reaching the milestone mark at 5:54 of the fourth quarter as she hit both free throws from the charity stripe.
- Rockefeller went on to lead all scorers with 27 points in the efforts for the Mustangs, nailing 5-of-14 from beyond the arc, while collecting four steals and dishing out two assists.
- Senior forward Charlotte Walker (Middle Island, N.Y.) also posted big numbers for the Mustangs, netting 17 while adding seven rebounds and two assists to her tallies.
- Sierra Henry (Newfield, N.Y.) added eight off the bench to round out the Mustang leaderboard.
- Morrisville State held the slim 22-18 advantage over Wells with points in the paint, but it was the contribution from Carley Ryan off the bench that pushed them past the Mustangs. Ryan had 21 points for Wells.
- Tonight's game benefited the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital in an effort to join the fight against pediatric cancer. Both teams wore commemorative t-shirts for warmups.
