Mustangs Edged by Red Dragons, 1-0

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Mustangs' women's ice hockey team dropped a 1-0 heartbreaker on Tuesday afternoon, falling on the road to Cortland State. 

Morrisville outshot the Red Dragons in every period except for the second, which is when the hosts scored the lone goal. 

Kanekaroroks McComber (Kahnawake, Quebec) and Stephanie Strymecki (Kelowna, British Columbia) tallied six and five shots respectively, but were unable to convert those shots into scores. 

The Mustangs return to their home ice on Tuesday, January 20 when they host Oswego State at 7 PM.
