Mustangs’ Late Goal Not Enough, Fall to Endicott 2-1

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State Women's Ice Hockey team traveled to Endicott for a critical weekend Colonial Hockey Conference series.  Unfortunately, the Mustangs could not overcome an early deficit, falling 2-1.

The Gulls scored first just over eight minutes in to the first period.  The hosts added a second goal with just over four minutes remaining to extend their lead to 2-0 over the Mustangs.

Maria deWilde (Caistorville, Ontario) put Morrisville on the board late in the third period to get within one.  Unfortunately, the Mustangs could not complete the comeback.

Morrisville will have to rebound quickly as they take the ice for the second game of the series on Saturday afternoon at 1 PM.
