Lombardi named to CHC Weekly Honor Roll  

 

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) selected its weekly award winners Monday, and has named Morrisville State sophomore forward Mackenzie Lombardi (Hamilton, ON) to its honor roll for the week ending Jan. 27.

Lombardi notched her second hat trick of the season Saturday in a 7-3 defeat of Neumann University, collecting a total three goals and an assist for four points as the Mustangs swept the weekend.

She set the tone of the contest early, netting the first tally just 1:16 in, before adding another at the 16:56 mark of the first period. Her second period score at the 12:32 mark proved to be the game winner.

Lombardi finished with a +4 on ice rating in Saturday's contest.

Morrisville State resumes conference play this weekend, hosting SUNY Canton on Friday for a 4 p.m. face-off, before facing the Roos for a second time Saturday in a 1 p.m. CHC slate.
