Firkins tabbed NEAC Defensive Player of the Week  

 

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) office announced its weekly award winners in the sport of women's lacrosse Monday, naming Morrisville State College's sophomore defender, Lexi Firkins (Brockport, N.Y.) the defensive player of the week.

Firkins collected a team-high nine ground balls in the loss at Oswego, adding four caused turnovers in the team's only game on the week.

A graduate of Brockport High, Firkins is majoring in criminal justice at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Amy and Jeff Firkins of Brockport.
