Morrisville State women shut out by Bay Path, 1-0

 

CANTON, N.Y. –

The Morrisville State College (0-2-0) women's soccer team dropped their second contest of the season, falling in a 1-0 decision to Bay Path College at the SUNY Canton Tournament Sunday afternoon.

Bay Path snuck one past Morrisville State netminder Angela Marriott (Peekskill, N.Y.) just eight minutes in, and despite the offensive threat, the Mustangs were unable to rebound to post the tying score.

Marriott finished the contest with seven saves.

Morrisville State returns to the field Wednesday, opening their home schedule against  Southern Vermont College at 6:30 on Drake Field.
