Morrisville State women blanked by Cortland, 6-0   

 

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College women's soccer team dropped to 0-3 on the season Saturday evening as visiting SUNY Cortland rolled to a 6-0 decision over the hosts on Drake Field in Morrisville.

Brianna Sorriento (Wynantskill, N.Y.) recorded the loss in net, collecting 14 saves as Cortland held the 42-4 shot advantage on the night, including a 20-3 shot on goal benefit.

Five different Cortland Red Dragons posted goals in the win, including Vanessa Romero who scored one and assisted another.

Danika Svendsen registered the win in net, making three stops.
