Morrisville State women shut out on road at Keuka   

 

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – Host Keuka College had four different players register scores Wednesday night as they claimed the 4-0 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory over visiting Morrisville State College in Keuka.

The loss drops Morrisville State to 1-6 overall on the year, 1-1 in conference play. Keuka improves to 3-5, and remains unbeaten in NEAC action at 2-0.

Brianna Sorriento (Wynantskill, N.Y.) recorded the loss in net, making two saves as Keuka out shot the Mustangs 18-6 on the night.

The Wolves opened quickly, posting the first tally eight minutes into the contest before adding another in the 20th minute for the 2-0 first half lead.

They added two additional scores late in the second half to secure the win, one in the 67th minute before closing out all scoring in the 80th minute of play.

Morrisville State returns to the field Saturday, traveling to Wells College for a 2 p.m. conference contest against the Express.
