MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its 2017 Women's Soccer All-Conference first, second and third teams Thursday, naming Morrisville State College senior Kelly Brennan (Sauquoit, N.Y.) and freshman Casey Watson (Stamford, Conn.) to its second team, as voted by league coaches.

Brennan, forward for the Mustangs, led Morrisville State in scoring on the year, netting eight goals and five assists for 21 points, all of which came in the final six games of the year.

The senior posted a single game high three goals and an assist for seven points in the win over Lancaster Bible College, also posting the game wining score.

Watson created opportunities for the Mustangs in the midfield, both on the defensive end of the field as well as in their offensive pursuit, but served a key role within the transition game itself.

Often it was the freshman that controlled play in the midfield for the Mustangs. She collected one point behind an assist on the year.

Morrisville State wrapped up the 2017 campaign with an appearance in the NEAC Championship Tournament, falling in the quarterfinal round after earning a fourth seed, after finishing 6-10-1 overall, 6-3-1 in conference action.
