MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its 2018 All-Conference teams Thursday, naming four from Morrisville State to its third team.

Freshman Angelina Rinaldi (Huntington Station, N.Y.), sophomore Shay Franklin (North Norwich, N.Y.), freshman Kayla Kelly (North Babylon, N.Y.) and sophomore Emily Racaniello (Fairport, N.Y.) were all honored with a spot on the all-conference team, as voted by coaches conference wide.

Rinaldi started all 17 games at forward, and led Morrisville State in scoring this season, netting a combined eight goals and five assists for 21 points in her inaugural collegiate season.

The freshman posted a single game high two goals and two assists in the win over Poly, posting scores against additional league opponents in Cobleskill, Gallaudet and Lancaster Bible College. Two of her tallies on the season were game winners.

Rinaldi finished the season ranked seventh in the NEAC in game winning goals, while ranking 15th and 16th, respectively, in goals scored and assists. She posted a .623 shot on goal percentage across the year.

Racaniello was part of a defensive unit that posted four shutouts across the season, captaining the back line, as they limited opponents to a .113 shot percentage on the year.

The sophomore made 17 starts at defense, and posted an assist in the win over SUNY Poly.

A versatile player, Franklin saw time on both the defensive and forward lines, starting all 18 contests. Across the year she collected seven goals for 14 points, a .304 shot percentage, while three of her tallies were game winning scores.

The sophomore posted two goals each in conference wins over Wells College and Cobleskill, also netting the game winner against St. Thomas (ME) to start the season. She currently ranks fourth overall in game winning goals and is 21st in goals scored.

Kelly played a key role for the Mustangs in the midfield game alongside Watson as she started all 18 games for the Mustangs and had a hand in the transition game. Kelly collected three assists for three points on the year, but was able to lend her assistance in transitioning the ball to the offensive end of the field for the Mustangs.
