Strong Blocking Propels Morrisville Volleyball to NEAC Win over Keuka

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Morrisville State Volleyball team used a strong blocking effort to propel themselves to a key North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win on Wednesday evening.

    • Morrisville (15-5, 8-0 NEAC), Keuka (9-14, 5-3 NEAC) 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW 

  • Kim Dunkleman (Williamsville, N.Y.) tallied 19 assists while orchestrating a balanced Morrisville attack.
  • Strong net play by the Mustangs forced Keuka into 30 hitting errors.  Morrisville picked up three solo blocks, two from Kirsten Florio (Wellsboro, Pa.) and 14 block assists.
  • The Mustangs also served up six aces on the evening.  

WHAT'S NEXT 

The Mustangs will head to the Hudson Valley this weekend for a non-conference tournament held by SUNY New Paltz.  Morrisville opens play on Friday night against Bard, before facing off against New Paltz and Rowan on Saturday.
