Mustangs Extend Win Streak to 5, Take down Union 3-0

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Morrisville State Volleyball team extended their win streak to 5 matches, taking down Union 3-0 in the first match of their last regular season tournament.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW 

  • Megyan Merrill (Millport, N.Y.) picked up 12 kills, while Kirsten Florio (Wellsboro, Pa.) and Amelia Baratier (Liverpool, N.Y.) both added 11 kills to the Morrisville attack.
  • Sam Wolf (Liverpool, N.Y.) continued her outstanding play in the back row, picking up 27 digs.
  • Morrisville's serve game remained one of their strong suits on Friday evening as the Mustangs picked up nine aces.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Mustangs will hop over to Skidmore College on Saturday for their final two matches of the regular season.  Morrisville will open with Skidmore at 10 AM before taking on SUNY New Paltz at noon.
