Morrisville State women 17th at Harry F. Anderson Invite  

 

 

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Senior Raylene Wade (Red Creek, N.Y.) led Morrisville State women's cross country Saturday as the finished 17th overall in team standings at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts and Wesleyan University.

Wade crossed in 72nd scoring position with a time of 20:54.7 in the 5K race, followed by Sydney O'Dell (Manlius, N.Y.) in 104th with a time of 22:52.6.

Anna Raymond (Newark, N.Y.) was 109th with a time of 23:31.9, followed closely by Miranda Wright (Smyrna, N.Y.) and Maura Hager (Binghamton, N.Y.) who crossed in 115th and 118th positions, respectively, with times of 24:59.9 and 25:22.8.

A total of 243 runners competed in the 18 team event, with host Roberts Wesleyan capturing the invite title.

Morrisville State is on the road Saturday at nearby Cazenovia College, with a scheduled 11 a.m. start.
